The truth is, I would probably not be a Unitarian (Universalist) today if my father had not heard Aaron Gilmartin (then the minister at University Unitarian Church in Seattle) speak at a Stevenson rally in 1956 (the year that I was born). Two years later, when my brother came along and my parents decided that maybe it was time to find a church home, guess whose congregation they visited first?
